About the Author and Inspiration

I am a published author who believes stories should feel real, emotional, and unforgettable. My background in journalism and life experiences allow me to create fiction that blends imagination with authentic human connection.

I grew up in Oceanside, California, where my love for storytelling first began. I later earned my degree in journalism from the University of Houston and started my career working for two Houston-area newspapers as both a news reporter and news editor. After spending years as a freelance writer, a close friend encouraged me to explore a new career in real estate. That experience eventually inspired me to write my debut novel and continue pursuing my passion as a literary fiction writer.
